Violent conflicts continue to play an important part in human life, impacting most societies. But how do we teach this vital subject without massacring student interest ('How many rebels were at Gettysburg by the third hour of the first day?' — ‘Boring!’ they cry) and what are our resources for stimulating interest in the subject of war on the part of a diverse range of students?
