Plenary Session Address by Jack Furlong, Director of Foundations of the Liberal Arts, Transylvania University, winner of the Kentucky ACORN Award (2000) and Carnegie Association Kentucky Professor of the Year in 2002. He is a professor philosophy whose work and teaching have been shaped by his interest in interdisciplinary education and critical thinking. He will address the more controversial issues that critical thinking opens up with students.
