Annual Meeting

KATH's annual meeting is usually held on a Saturday in central Kentucky during mid-September. This conference brings together teachers from all levels and focuses on varied and interesting themes, ranging from current historical trends to recent teaching strategies. Generally, the program includes an opening speaker of renown in a particular area of expertise (content or methodology), then a panel of Kentuckians who can function as local resources. KATH will issue an attendance certificate that teachers may use to claim professional development hours. The exchange of ideas and the fellowship shared at these meetings and at the Friday night receptions are some of the main attractions for members. To register, print out the registration form and mail it with your payment to Alana Cain Scott, Morehead State University, Rader Hall, Dept of History, Morehead, KY 40351.
